My background is rooted in practical execution across a few different worlds. I've spent decades figuring out how complex systems work under the hood, how raw materials are shaped, and how software controls physical machinery.
**Manufacturing & Programming:** I've handled nearly every aspect of plastic injection molding and thermoforming, including tool making. I also spent years programming 3 and 5-axis CNC machines for both glass and plastic using G-code and Cartesian 5.
**Mechanical & Fabrication:** I know my way around metalwork, heavy mechanics, and finishing. My time in the trades includes working as a diesel tech, doing autobody restoration and collision repair, fabrication, and production painting on an assembly line.
**Computers & Networking:** I've had a strong interest in how computers, servers, and networks are put together and secured since my early days working help desk for an ISP and doing onsite computer repair. Today, I use this site as a sandbox to practice setting up clean, functional local lab environments.
**Operations & Logistics:** Beyond the shop floor and the terminal, I've also run operations for a dining and entertainment establishment and spent time as a commercial cross-country truck driver.
